New Year Reso-What ?
2018 is projected to be a great year for most, especially when it comes to the famous NEW YEARS resolution. Some may have verbalized or even written down their new year resolution. Sad to say most planned activities will not last 30 days. Let's keep it, real people!! What the hell does a frickin frack resolution mean anyway? Come on a lot of us should just do it, don’t speak or write down shit!
9 times out 10 YOU WON’T SUCCEED!!!!
Think about it, if you’re not passionate about it, chanting, writing notes, posting and attaching colorful post-its on every wall in the house including making it our screensaver (been there, done that) on your desktop won’t make it happen.
Now, ladies, you know our favorite resolution is eating fewer calories or changing our diet specifically for weight loss goals. Is it just me or have you also noticed all of the ads for boot camps, specifically targeting who? women! Especially when you see that hot personal trainer video saying, I want YOU to join me for 6 weeks straight. We are all suckers for that muscle-bound specimen asking you to join them. I'm sorry, who could resist?
I'll take my chances and do this my damn self !!!
What about meditation? Mainly to clear your mind from all the drama your young and old crumb snatchers brings. Yes, I said old; the older they get the bigger portions of crumbs they snatch. Realistically speaking, unless your knowledgeable and well educated about the whole art and true benefits of meditation you won't be successful with that resolution as well.
Let face it, resolutions should never be taken lightly. Think long and hard about something you're passionate about and what goals you will need to set in order to make your purpose or vision come to fruition. Then and only you then will be on the path to a successful New Year’s Resolution.
